Lighting company Foscarini has teamed up with Diesel as part of Diesel’s Successful Living line for the home.
Production was developed within 5 years by creative command Diesel. Their joint series "Successful Living" into which design lamps Cage have entered, Fork, Glas, Graf, Rock, Stud and Tri-P, has been shown at an exhibition in Milan.

In fact, what they’ve produced might come straight from the pages of a graphic novel: equal parts noir, industrial, and linear, Cage represents the “underground in the real sense of the word.” Inspired by the protected lamps of miners, Cage reinterprets the caged bulb, giving it a new spin—mostly in its new shape. Irregular and bulbous, the Cage Lamp’s exoskeleton is an artistic recreation of the original.
The lacquered metal of Cage is available in white, black, and green, as is the blown glass shade held within the structure. The Cage group includes a table, floor, and suspension lamp, although it is the table version that echoes the original most loudly.

It has an “underground” origin in the real sense of the word. It is inspired by the lamps of miners and workers, protected by a metal cage which in Cage becomes a decorative element. The table version has the total versatility of building site lamps: it can be hung, moved or placed on any surface or on the floor, or it can become an ironic desk lamp, which plays on its resemblance to a microphone. Cage is a personal object that will satisfy all your desires.
