British product designers Steve Jones and Russell Cameron founded Innermost in 1999 and launched the first collection at Designers Block London in September 2000. At Innermost s core lies a key principle each new product must not only be interesting and functional but be innovative in its use of materials.
Jeeves & Wooster
Remember the days when your bank was a fortress built on reputation and trust? When banking was a genteel occupation practiced soberly in oak lined rooms. When the solidity of the profession was reflected in the very clothes the bankers wore – stiff collars and sturdy bowler hats. To commemorate the demise of the Great British banker, Innermost brings you "Jeeves", designed by Jake Phipps.Jeeves is a pendant light combining a genuine handmade wool felt bowler hat and an energy (and money!) saving G9 bulb, reinforced by anodized aluminium.

Named after the iconic PG Wodehouse characters, Jake Phipps created Jeeves, and also "Wooster", tipping his hat to the Great British class system of the late 19th century. These characters are typified by the "bowler" and ‘top’ hats they wore. The ‘bowler' worn by the working man and the "top" sported by the gentleman of leisure. In the 20th century, the bowler hat became an internationally recognized symbol of "Britishness", claiming its place in popular culture as the headwear of choice for John Steed in swinging 1960's TV show ‘The Avengers'. Jeeves has been specified for a variety of interiors, including Harvey Nichols' London store and the Philippe Starck-designed Mama Shelter Hotel in Paris.
